Winner winner chicken dinner...
The Reactor, Feathers and C.I Studios are proud to announce that their latest work has made the top spot of WGSN’s list of the best Australian Advertising campaigns for the season.
Poppy Key, Head of Marketing at Feathers, is thrilled to receive such an accolade: “Feathers is a small fish in a big pond. To be rated No. 1 by WGSN, the global authority on style and design, as ‘up there’ Witchery, Cue and David Jones, is an enormous achievement. It just goes to show what’s possible. We don’t have the resources of the bigger brands but we do have a talented creative team that share a vision and a passion and are willing to do whatever it takes to make the magic happen”.
The Reactor’s CD, Nick Brown agrees: “WGSN is the leading international trend forecaster for the fashion industry. It’s very exciting that we’ve attracted their notice. Considering that other campaigns on the list have come from some of Australia’s largest retailers, it’s fantastic to see Feathers at the top.”
Shot in CI’s Richmond studio by Tintin Hedberg, the campaign is set in an extraordinary, other-worldly location and uses a dramatic mirror effect to achieve double impact. Said Hedberg: “Feathers took a risk to be very creative and step outside of their comfort zone. It has certainly paid off for Feathers”.
